if you live in the baltimore area, come out for this! two birds with one stone: you get to support my housemates’ new pop punk band, as well as some awesome people in NC who are facing some abominable state repression. alkqnsupport.com
ALSO: this saturday, the 14th, my dear friends from GSO are hosting an event at red emma’s! screening the documentary “black & gold”, which is about the kings, and talking about what’s going on in NC.
both of these events are fundraisers, so maybe instead of getting drunk this weekend, you can throw that twenty bucks to a cause that is better for both your liver and the rev.
my new pop punk band’s first show. come check it out if you’re in or new bmore, yo!
Do You Like Osker? If You Do You’ll Love This, If You Don’t, Then Start
My good friend Tanner Willow just finished up a project he’s been working on; covering Osker’s full length album “Idle Will Kill” in its entirety. He always works in a cover or two into his sets when I play with him on tour, and his old band Project: Citizen used to do this as well, and it has always been a real treat. So here’s a link to a playlist I made of the songs in the order that they’re in on the album. You can click “play all” and it switches songs automatically, and you can open a new window so you don’t have to look at his face the whole time… Haha.
Yo, check out my friend Matt’s patches. He does awesome artwork, and is responsible for a lot of album art for Raise Your Fist Records releases.

This is a blog for my solo acoustic project. My name is Alex. I've been playing solo music off and on in between being in punk/hardcore bands since I was 15 years old. I made this site so that people without facebook pages could have some access to view things like tour dates and new releases. More info can be found over at www.raiseyourfistrecords.com
